General terms and conditions of sale for contact lenses

Your visual health comes first

The More-Lenses website is operated by Art’Optique Pully SA, independent opticians specialised in contact lenses.
Our goal is to offer you quality products at the best price, while always respecting your visual health.

1. Conditions for ordering contact lenses

By confirming your order for contact lenses, you confirm that you:

  • have worn the same type of lenses for at least 6 months without complications, in accordance with the recommendations of your specialist (optician or ophthalmologist);
  • have been examined by a contact lens specialist within the last 12 months (qualified optician or ophthalmologist), without any complications related to lens wear;
  • immediately stop wearing your lenses in the event of redness, pain, reduced vision, persistent discomfort or any other complication, and consult an eye care professional without delay.

More-Lenses and Art’Optique Pully SA cannot be held liable for complications, pain or damage resulting from improper use of the lenses or wear that is not suited to your medical situation.

2. Data protection and confidentiality

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data.
The information you provide to us (contact details, order data, purchase history, etc.) is used only to:

  • process your orders and payments;
  • organise delivery and parcel tracking;
  • manage your customer account and history;
  • inform you, with your consent, of relevant offers or information.

Your data is neither sold, rented nor loaned to third parties.
It is only transmitted to service providers essential for processing your order (for example payment providers or delivery services), and only to the extent necessary.

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at:

3. Products, quality and warranty

More-Lenses is a Swiss online service managed from Switzerland by a qualified optician specialised in contact lens fitting.
We offer only original products from recognised manufacturers.

We describe our products with the greatest care (water content, material, base curve, diameter, weight, packaging photos, etc.).
Nevertheless, minor differences may exist between the descriptions and the products delivered, particularly in the event of packaging changes or product range updates by manufacturers.

For coloured contact lenses, the final result depends on many factors (natural eye colour, lighting, etc.) and cannot be guaranteed.

4. “Best sellers” pages and recommendations

“Best sellers” pages are intended to help you find the references most frequently ordered more easily.
They do not under any circumstances constitute medical advice or a sufficient basis for choosing lenses without prior examination by a specialist.

5. Prices, VAT and modifications

All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF), including 8.1% VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices, product selection, information and visuals at any time without prior notice.

6. Payment methods

Payments are processed via secure providers:

  • Credit card (Wallee AG platform);
  • TWINT;
  • PostFinance;
  • Payment on collection at the Art’Optic store in Pully.

7. Invoice and reimbursement by insurance

For any reimbursement request from basic or supplementary health insurance, the invoice must obligatorily mention the surname, first name and address of the beneficiary.

For accounting reasons, an order cannot be split into several invoices in the names of different persons.
Your invoice is available in your More-Lenses customer account.

8. Order and customer responsibility

By selecting your lens type and prescription parameters, you enter into a sales contract.
It is your responsibility to check that the values chosen correspond to the prescription provided by your specialist.

In the event of an order error (wrong prescription, wrong product, etc.), Art’Optique Pully SA excludes all liability.
We may offer an exchange at your expense (see return conditions below), but no refund is granted for this type of error.

9. Ownership of goods

Delivered goods remain the property of Art’Optique Pully SA until full payment of the order and effective delivery.

You undertake to inform us without delay of any change of address.
Failing this, any address search or reshipment costs may be charged to you.

10. Delivery and shipping costs

Available delivery methods:

  • PostPacEconomy: CHF 7.30;
  • Store pickup at Art’Optic Pully: CHF 3.50.

Care products may be sent separately at the PostPacEconomy rate of CHF 7.30.
Shipping is free from CHF 180 of purchase.

Delivery is carried out by Swiss Post.
The risk of loss or theft after the parcel has been deposited in your mailbox or collection point is borne by the recipient.
Upon receipt, please check the integrity of the parcel. In case of damage, contact us immediately at
contact@morelenses.ch.

11. Delivery times (non-binding information)

For an order placed before 11 a.m., usual timeframes are:

  • 24 hours: store availability for Alcon lenses;
  • 48 hours: store availability for other brands;
  • 1 to 3 weeks: boxes of 3 lenses and custom-made CooperVision lenses;
  • Home delivery Alcon / CooperVision / Johnson&Johnson by PostPacEconomy: 5 to 9 working days.

Order processing and shipping take place from Monday to Friday.
We do everything possible to meet or improve these timeframes, without being able to guarantee them.

12. Right of return and satisfaction guarantee

You benefit from a 30-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of receipt, for a return or exchange under the following conditions:

  • products in their original condition;
  • packaging and boxes intact and sealed;
  • products unopened, unused and resaleable.

Return shipping costs, as well as the shipping costs for the replacement product (CHF 8.50), are borne by the buyer.

Excluded from any return or exchange: care products, coloured contact lenses, custom-made individual products and accessories (prescription glasses or sunglasses).
Any order confirmed and delivered under these conditions remains due.

13. Complaints concerning lenses

In the event of a suspicious lens (defect, discomfort, etc.), please return it to us for examination:

  • in a suitable container (lens case or lens container);
  • in preservation solution;
  • with the lot number, your customer number, the order number and the relevant prescription.

Dried-out lenses or lenses kept without solution cannot be examined.
Return costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

14. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is the consumer’s place of residence, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
